Stirling Ultracold to Present at ISBER, Sydney, Australia, May 2013

March 8, 2013
The International Society of Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) have announced the selection of Neill Lane, President and CEO of Stirling Ultracold, to present a paper on “Energy Performance of Stirling Engine Powered Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers” at the worldwide ISBER conference in Sydney, Australia, May 7, 2013.

ISBER is an international forum established to address technical, legal, ethical and managerial issues associated with repositories of biological and environmental specimens for long-term storage.

Lane’s presentation is scheduled for 3:30PM at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, and will be followed by a question and answer session. He will present details on the Stirling Ultracold line of energy-efficient ultra-low temperature freezers, together with independent test data corroborating the performance of the freezers. These Stirling cooled freezers provide advantages in economics and sustainability objectives for ultra-low temperature storage of biological materials and other life forms.

According to Lane, “The ISBER conference offers an opportunity to introduce Stirling Ultracold freezer’s energy use and sustainability benefits to leading international scientists, principal investigators and researchers responsible for the design and management of bio repositories.
