Stirling Ultracold is proud to share the independently verified energy consumption and temperature stability test results for the VAULT100 PRO ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezer.

Tested by an independent, EPA-recognized laboratory in accordance with the EPA ENERGY STAR® Final Test Method, the VAULT100 PRO demonstrated a weighted average energy consumption of 5.71 kWh per day under steady-state conditions and 6.63 kWh per day when tested with six door openings. This standardized testing method provides laboratory freezer buyers with a consistent basis for comparing energy consumption across models and manufacturers.

Beyond energy consumption, the testing evaluated temperature stability during and after door openings. The VAULT100 PRO incorporates purpose-designed features to help minimize temperature fluctuations during routine access and support temperature recovery afterward.

The manual vacuum breaker and redesigned inner doors are engineered to minimize peak temperature variation when the door is opened. Following door openings, the vaulted ceiling, new thermosiphon (TS) design, and perforated top work together to support temperature recovery and improve temperature uniformity.
